Organic browntop idli rawa is a nutritious and versatile ingredient made from organic browntop millet, adhering to organic farming practices. Idli rawa, also known as idli rava, is a coarse flour used to make idlis, a traditional South Indian steamed rice cake.

Browntop millet is a gluten-free whole grain rich in fiber, protein, vitamins, and minerals. It offers numerous health benefits, including aiding digestion, promoting weight loss, and regulating blood sugar levels.

To prepare idlis using browntop idli rawa, soak the rawa in water for a few hours or overnight to soften it. Then drain the water and grind the rawa along with urad dal (black gram lentils) to make a smooth batter. Ferment the batter overnight or for a few hours until it rises and becomes slightly airy.

Once the batter is fermented, add salt to taste and pour it into idli molds. Steam the idlis in a steamer for about 10-12 minutes until they are cooked through and firm. Serve the idlis hot with chutney, sambar, or any other accompaniment of your choice.
